Chaparral Elementary School is a Lighthouse Certified Leader in Me school serving K-6 students with a focus on safe, engaging, and lifelong learning. Our dynamic curriculum includes hands-on math, physical education, art, music, and various academic and enrichment clubs such as robotics and student government. We pride ourselves on our dedicated staff, active parent involvement, and enthusiastic student body.

Higley Unified School District now uses ParentSquare as its unified communication platform for school, district, and classroom updates. Families can receive messages by email, text, phone, or through the free ParentSquare app, making it easier than ever to stay informed and connected.

All Arizona children and teens (18 and under) can receive free meals all summer at participating sites across the state. Meals vary by location and may include breakfast, lunch, snacks, or supper. No sign-up needed, just attend during scheduled meal times. The Higley Unified School District Governing Board meeting schedule can be found on the district website at husd.org/board-meetings. The public is welcome to attend all board meetings. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the meetings. Board Business Meetings and Work Study Sessions are livestreamed on the district YouTube channel. Please note, Points of Pride, Higley Adventures, and Requests to Speak are not included during the Work Study meetings.

Every school campus received an “A” letter grade, and numerous awards and accolades across the district worth celebrating.
