Chaparral Elementary School is a Lighthouse Certified Leader in Me school serving K-6 students with a focus on safe, engaging, and lifelong learning. Our dynamic curriculum includes hands-on math, physical education, art, music, and various academic and enrichment clubs such as robotics and student government. We pride ourselves on our dedicated staff, active parent involvement, and enthusiastic student body.

We are excited to announce that every in-person school in the Higley Unified School District (HUSD) has earned an “A” letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education for the 2024–25 school year. This achievement reflects the district’s commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and high-quality research-based instruction across all campuses. The Higley Unified School District Governing Board meeting schedule can be found on the district website at husd.org/board-meetings. The public is welcome to attend all board meetings. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the meetings. Board Business Meetings and Work Study Sessions are livestreamed on the district YouTube channel. Please note, Points of Pride, Higley Adventures, and Requests to Speak are not included during the Work Study meetings.
