About Our School

Chaparral Elementary School is a community school in Higley Unified School District and serving neighborhood kindergarten through sixth grade students. It is rated "A" by the Arizona Department of Education. Our learning environment provides each and every child the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment and develop a life-long quest for learning and knowledge.We make learning engaging and relevant through hands-on mathematics and academics, as well as a full rounded curriculum of physical education, art and music. We offer a menu of academic and enrichment clubs such as student government, peer mediations and recycling.

Our state-of-the-art facility was completed in August 2007, and our vast campus with numerous playing fields is safe and secure. We invite you and your child to join our enthusiastic students, top-notch professional staff and involved parents in an elementary school experience designed to promote life-long learning and self-confidence.
