Dear Chaparral Community,
I am very excited to be returning to the Chaparral family as Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year! As a proud member of this Lighthouse School, I am excited to be back growing Jawsome leaders and increase leadership competencies across our campus! This will be my 20th year in education. I have been a classroom teacher and Title Coordinator/Instructional Coach before landing in the shark tank. This year will be my tenth year serving Chaparral as Assistant Principal.
Our end in mind, this year we will be to continue focusing on creating leadership opportunities for students and creating engaging, safe, and rigorous learning environments for our students. We are also committed to supporting students' leadership development through the Leader in Me process. Our community is embracing the 8 habits of highly effective people and paradigms that will support future success.
